Work Agreement

Maids On Point's work agreement for employees and contractors

By applying for and accepting work through Maids On Point, LLC via maidsonpoint.com you and / or your company hereby referred to as “the Contractor” are agreeing to all the terms set forth in this agreement.

By using this website, it’s counterparts and checking the “I Agree” button the Contractor is acknowledging that:

  1. The Contractor is an independent contractor and 100% responsible for their own equipment, insurance, vehicles, taxes and any other business expenses which the Contractor may incur.
  2. The Contractor has read the entirety of this document and agreed to it’s contents.

Maids On Point, LLC may cease to provide jobs and/or work to the Contractor at any time for any reason with or without warning if there is any breach of this contract, negative feedback or any other reason Maids On Point sees fit to discontinue work with the contractor.

Maids On Point, LLC’s work agreement is subject to change. It’s the responsibility or the Contractor to keep up with changes to the terms of this agreement.

 

Requirements

The Contractor is required to have the following to complete each job successfully. Maids On Point may work with the contractor to help meet these requirements. Doing so will in no way qualify the Contractor as a Maids On Point employee.

A Contractor who fails to meet these requirements will cease to receive new work until these requirements are met.

The Contractor is required to have: 

  1. Daily access to an Internet connection
  2. Reliable vehicle and or transportation to and from job sites
  3. At least two team members (including themselves)
  4. General liability insurance including incidental of up to 1 million dollars of coverage to cover any damage or misplaced goods at a job site.
  5. Their own cleaning supplies. Cleaning supplies include:
    1. a ceiling fan duster that reaches at least 8 feet
    2. Glass cleaner
    3. Tub and shower cleaner
    4. Mop
    5. Bucket
    6. working vacuum cleaner
    7. Duster
    8. granite cleaner
    9. stove top cleaners
    10. cleaning rags
    11. step ladder

Contractors can set their own availability when working with Maids On Point. However, if the Contractor has marked themselves as available the Contractor is required to show up to the agreed upon location at the agreed upon time. A failure to do so without advance warning may result in no longer being eligible to receive jobs from Maids On Point.

 

PAYMENT FOR SERVICES

The Recipient will pay compensation to the Contractor for the Services. Payments will be made as follows:

A predetermined percentage of each job performed to be paid at the end of the next week from which the job was performed.  The percentage will be discussed and agreed upon when brought on as a contractor for Maids On Point, LLC. If a refund is issued and/or a re-cleaning is required the Contractor may not receive any compensation for the work performed. Maids On Point, LLC will only pay for jobs that were completed successfully.

No other fees and/or expenses will be paid to the Contractor, unless such fees and/or expenses have been approved in advance by the appropriate executive on behalf of the Recipient in writing. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for any and all taxes, Social Security contributions or payments, disability insurance, unemployment taxes, and other payroll type taxes applicable to such compensation. The Contractor has the right of control over the method of payment for services.
